Worst Cirque Show I've Ever Seen...Total Waste of Money

We've been going to Cirque du Soleil for the past 15 - 20 years, anytime they'd bring a show to Dallas. Every one of those shows was amazing due to great sets, costumes, music, performers and content. Unfortunately this performance of Cirque did not have any of those attributes, and was a total disappointment. The stage scenery was unimaginative, and the costumes looked like they were pulled from the performer's personal closets. The music was a terrible recorded track. We are used to live musicians, with beautiful songs and amazing singers. However, the worst part was definitely the performers and the acts. There was this an annoying dance troupe who couldn't synchronize their moves and looked like they were sourced from the local high school. Then there was a group of "acrobats" that danced around the stage in onesies, and were also so amateurish that they too looked like they were a poor high school gymnastics team. Then you had the guys dressed like reindeer who hopped through a circle and unfortunately crashed into the circle. And then there were the skaters and light up jugglers that were blatant rip-offs of Americas Got Talent. At 90 minutes the performers bowed and my wife asked if it was intermission and I said "no, that's the end of the show thankfully". TERRIBLE WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY. I think Cirque du Soleil is so desperate to start generating ticket sales that they put out this low-end performance.
